with a good imagination and invent something." -Thomas Edison

Welcome. I love showing my work so I am glad you landed here. I am a self-taught artist and I work in many different media including mixed media, acrylic, ink pen, collage, wood, plastic, metal, hand-pulled prints, digital media and more. My work has been described as abstract, surrealistic and inspirational. My works are in many private collections including Vanderbilt University's Children's Hospital. In addition to being a visual artist, I am also a composer and recording artist. Here is a link with more info on my music

Artist Statement
I take an intuitive approach to creating that incorporates found and recycled materials. I also approach it as a game and I look for different ways to put color on the surface. For example, I use arbitrary objects instead of brushes and allow my body's natural movements to guide how I place paint and materials on the surface. By placing color and materials in a way that seems random at the time, images form organically and become more concrete through the process. When a sense of balance in the piece is attained this tells me it is finished.
